We may use information to:
- Respond to questions and insurance inquiries
- Process quote-start or contact requests
- Contact you when you request licensed assistance
- Help identify insurance products, carriers, resources, or licensed professionals that may be relevant to your request
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the website
- Protect against fraud, spam, misuse, and security threats
- Maintain business, licensing, and compliance records
- Meet legal, regulatory, contractual, or carrier requirements
- Understand website performance and customer experience
Submission of information does not create insurance coverage, bind or issue a policy, guarantee eligibility or pricing, or establish that FIG or a carrier has accepted an application.
5. Forms, Formspree, and service providers
Website contact and quote-start submissions may be processed using Formspree, a third-party form-processing service. Information submitted through a form may be transmitted to and stored by Formspree and delivered to authorized FIG representatives.
We may also use hosting, email, communications, security, analytics, customer-management, insurance-carrier, quoting, enrollment, document, and other service providers to operate the website and respond to requests.
These providers may receive information as reasonably necessary to perform services, complete a requested transaction, comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, or protect legitimate business and security interests.
6. Insurance carriers and shopping partners
When live carrier links, comparative quote tools, embedded quote engines, applications, or purchasing paths are available, you may be redirected to or interact with a carrier or other third party.
Information you submit directly to a carrier, enrollment platform, payment provider, or third-party quoting service is governed by that party’s privacy policy and terms. FIG does not control how those third parties collect, use, retain, or secure information.
You should review the privacy notice of each carrier or service before providing personal, financial, medical, driving, business, or payment information.
7. When information may be disclosed
Information may be disclosed:
- With your permission or at your direction
- To licensed agents, insurance carriers, general agencies, technology platforms, or service providers when necessary to respond to your request
- To vendors supporting website hosting, forms, email, security, communications, analytics, or business operations
- When required by law, subpoena, court order, regulation, or government request
- To investigate fraud, security incidents, misuse, or violations of applicable terms
- As part of a merger, sale, financing, reorganization, or transfer of business assets
FIG does not knowingly sell personal information collected through its general contact or introductory quote forms for money.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
The website or its service providers may use essential cookies, browser storage, logs, session technologies, or similar tools for operation, security, fraud prevention, performance, saved game progress, and user experience.
Browser controls may allow you to block or remove cookies and local storage. Doing so may cause saved game progress, preferences, or other website features to stop working.
Additional advertising or nonessential tracking technologies should not be introduced without updating this policy and providing notice or consent choices when required.
9. Future accounts, dashboards, apps, and wallet features
Customer account, policy dashboard, claims, mobile application, document, insurance-card, and digital-wallet features shown on the website may be demonstrations or planned features unless clearly identified as operational.
Before real customer accounts or policy-management features become available, FIG expects to provide additional privacy notices and security disclosures describing authentication, account data, documents, claims information, policy information, notifications, mobile-app permissions, and supported wallet passes.
Do not submit real account credentials, policy documents, claims documents, payment information, or sensitive identity information into any feature labeled as a preview or demonstration.
10. Data retention
We may retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to inquiries, provide requested assistance, maintain business records, meet legal or regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce agreements.
Retention periods may vary depending on the information, purpose, carrier relationship, applicable insurance requirements, and legal obligations.
Browser-saved game progress remains on your device until it is reset, deleted through browser controls, or otherwise removed by your browser or device.
11. Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
No website, browser-storage system, email service, vendor, or electronic transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Visitors should avoid sending highly sensitive information through general website forms or ordinary email.
12. Your choices and privacy requests
Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information.
You may also ask us to stop certain communications. We may need to verify your identity before completing a privacy request, and some information may be retained when required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
You can manage locally stored Myth Buster progress through the game’s reset control or your browser settings. Because that information is stored on your device, FIG may not be able to access, recover, correct, or delete it for you.
13. Children’s privacy
This website is intended for adults seeking insurance information. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through the website.
A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted personal information may contact us to request review or deletion.
14. Third-party websites
The website may link to insurance carriers, quoting platforms, government resources, service providers, or other third-party websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy.
Visitors should review each third party’s privacy policy and terms before submitting information or completing a transaction.
15. State privacy rights
Residents of certain states may have additional privacy rights under applicable law. Rights may depend on location, information type, business size, processing activity, and whether a particular law applies to FIG.
We will review verified privacy requests and respond as required by applicable law.
16. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, technology, vendors, insurance relationships, or legal obligations change.
The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
17. Contact us
